USB Killer is the most disappointing electronics gadget I've ever used. I wanted to use it as a quick and dirty surge generator, but I found at least the specific version that I happened to purchase is only "good" for sabotaging and completely unusable for experiments. The components are so undersized in order to fit a Flash drive enclosure that, if you connect it to a dummy load and don't disconnect it quickly enough, there will be permanent circuit damage after continuously pulsing for a minute or so, with a huge reduction of pulse energy after that.

In other words, the USB Killer eventually kills itself for good.
