Hamda Al-Ghaith, a member of the club's board of directors and acting president, emphasized the importance of participating in the French and Egyptian championships due to the high technical value associated with competing with the world's top players, especially as the French championship will feature around 160 players from around the world. She pointed out that the club, led by President Major Mohamed Hussein Al-Khoury, is moving forward with its development plans to benefit from cooperation agreements with international and local and Arab institutions, which will contribute to upgrading the skills of players and raising their competitive level in local and international championships, especially as last season saw the club win 104 medals in all championships. Next month will see the annual training camp of the club, with the participation of international fencing stars, to motivate its players and female players, noting that the camp will feature the participation of Olympic champion Ahmed Jendy, who won the gold medal in the modern pentathlon men's event at the Paris 2024 Olympics.
