Part of my time today was spent in the world of car clubs in Southern California, quite specifically classic Volkswagen enthusiasts of Orange County. My husband Ken grew up in this world. I get to drop in every couple of years to events. Ken and a couple of friends used to race (officially!), but that was a while ago.
