I'm not going to claim that California's high-speed rail project isn't anything other than a massive boondoggle... But at the same time, this is absolutely hilarious.
I don't know what the PR wizards in the Trump administration were thinking to host a press conference with the subject of axing a public transit project, and choosing as the venue for this, one of the nation's most beautiful multimodal train stations, which is still a major transit hub used by tens of thousands of people everyday.
Also, the slow pan-out at the end... Classic curb 😂
