Another year, another award of the (so-called) Nobel Prize for Economics to an all male team: Daron Acemoglu, Simon Johnson & James Robinson.
Don't get me wring these guys are no idiots (Why Nations Fail is a great book) & their work is important... but it beggars belief that once again the prize-awarding team have failed to find a single woman economist who might deserve recognition.... or share the prize.
Clearly economics still has a gender problem!
