"content": "Working through my 2011 Indonesia photos and I've reached Tuk Tuk, the beautiful pimple on the arse of Samosir island in Lake Danau on Sumatra.\n\nOne feature of the local architecture that fascinated me was its similarity with Māori motifs. The Polynesian migration passed along the the Indonesian islands around 1500-500 BC; it seems to me that this similarity is not coincidental.
