yeah jpegli sounds like a no-brainer upgrade to jpeg. Will play with it more.
What I love about webp is that you can get jpg level compression while having 16 bits alpha masks, and animations that are so much more optimized than gif, almost as good as video codecs. A looping movie in an image tag, what a dream lol
