This is a great idea, and it feels like an easy win wherever e-bikes are used. The only problem (at least in south London where I live) is that people seem reluctant to leave their personal e-bikes in public locations. That’s obviously a symptom of a larger, unrelated problem.
Either way, there are plenty of on-street rental e-bikes that could be corralled into charging stations - this would benefit both riders and service providers, and might help declutter our walkways.
