I may have spoken too soon in saying that AI didn't seem to have made the sort of inroads into journalism I expected. I just clicked on two trans stories that gave of heavy AI-written vibes to me.
There's a voice to AI stories, but that's not the real tell for me. It's these weird choices of facts, odd omissions, half-truths. The result is something not necessarily false, but something a human who understood the territory wouldn't have constructed.
