#writerscoffeeclub May 8: When writing technical or scientific detail, how much is plausible versus imagined?
I try to use plausible scientific theories in my hard Sci-fi. For example, much of the AI in Zero Magenta was based on an article I read in The New Scientist on the nature of consciousness.
I'm fascinated by the subject of determinism, but Alex Garland covered this well in Devs. 🙁
