Also UID2/ID5 is nothing new, DRN1 has done something simular for years. We assign a deviceID and if the end user signs in or gives us their email address it creates a picture of that person whether they use Apple Podcast, Web, Spotify etc.
The difference is how we use the data:
1) We don't sell the data.
2) We don't use the data for targeted ads (as it sits fundamentally wrong with us).
3) We use the data only to provide better personlised shows and DRN1 content to them
