It is literally impossible to shut down Bitcoin.
The fiat on and off ramps have always been the weakest point which is why a circular Bitcoin economy is so great. Can't wait for Nostr based zap markets.
But even with the fiat ramps, we already have methods of bypassing the KYC bullshit which the government can't stop.
Think of it like this. After shutting down Silk Road, hundreds of new darknet markets have come and gone since.
If they can't even stop people using Bitcoin to buy drugs online what hope do they have of closing access to Bitcoin itself?
Keep in mind too, remember how China can't enforce their Bitcoin ban? China already has a CBDC.
