My company has a call center in Manilla "to handle APAC hours". Of course the call center is open 24x7 and takes calls from everywhere, although they are the only folks online for APAC.
I hate working with them. When I ask if they have completed something, they usually say yes, even if they haven't started. When they get stuck, they don't ask for help. When I tell them to work independently, they work as a team.
There are exceptions, but overall, they say what they think I want to hear.
