Our house is one hundred years old, we've got a guy doing some work in the garden and he said it looks like it had a bomb shelter at one time..
Every time I think about the history of the house it kind of messes me up to know that our parents and their families were crammed into tenements without proper sanitation a couple of miles away while folk lived in these amazing houses with their own big gardens etc.
