Bummer. You might want to pop the lid off of your engine air filter and check to see if it has been chewed on.
For those driving Toyota Tacomas -- the air vent leading to the heat/AC is not screened, and I have had mice and chipmunks nesting in the heater fan and chewing through the cabin air filter. If interested, I can advise on how to fix that.
