I'm in the US and fortunate enough to have an uncle that raises cattle, so he takes care of getting it processed and all. Last year was around $5/lb I think. That includes a whole bunch of different cuts, I may be over paying on ground beef per pound, but I'm saving a shit ton on say ribeyes per pound. It's a big up front cost, a little over $2k, but don't have to buy beef for the whole year.
