I know you're right but it's hard to believe trump was that big of threat to them to the point they used everything at their disposal and basically exposed and weakened themselves in the process . They've also increased the likelihood of a hitler 2.0 appearance .Doesn't seem very smart to me when they could have just tightened the leash on him another 4 years.
