Don't ever give out your social security number, because with just that one number a criminal can figure out your name and which state you were born in. If you keep it secret, the criminal will have the impossible task to guess which one of 3 people with your same name, city and approximate age you are; then they can pull your credit report for five bucks and get your social security number anyway. Be secure people!
