DLEQ proofs say nothing about the spent state.

With locking scripts, it requires you to commit in advance to whichever sender you will use, and you cannot change that for the locking duration.

In a case like the extended power outage, most commitment durations would not be enough. Your intended recipient may not be available as well. (for example, grocery store can’t restock and you have to go to another one)

A commitment duration being too long is very bad UX. There is also no 2nd transferability, making it useless for example shop owners to pay employees or buy food.

So “solution” in theory, useless in practice.
