I took a random survey (using a separate email address) a few years ago that ended up signing me up for NRA marketing emails.
The messaging to their target demographic includes consistent use of words of war. In CAPITALS of course. And the tone and aggressiveness has an ebb and flow that lines up perfectly with whether there was a recent mass-shooting. Shooting in the news? Let's give away some backpacks! No shootings this week, let's threaten an uprising!
