There is a "uniform" of a sort, worn by apparently all esotericists... That being, the belief that the material world is a product of mind. I disagree with this... I think mind exists in all things, but human physiology shows us that the material world must exist independently of us. I'm talking about pain. Pain is the binary code of our minds and bodies. This is a provable fact. Even pleasure is encoded in pain signals. That implies that growth is a response to external stimulus. If the material world is merely a manifestation of our internal states, then we would be stimulating ourselves, and essentially be in an informational entropic decay.
The difference between a larper and someone who "gets it" is : suffering. The world is pain ; the mind is suffering. The path of the seeker entails dropping the suffering **_specifically to maximize the pain._** Forget concepts of good and bad... That's just more suffering.
