My only problem with Samus is that she should have SOME kind of green worked into her design post Dread.
She is now a TRUE successor of the Chozo race in all aspects: warrior, scholar and PROTECTOR.
Never forget, the Metroid were NEVER supposed to be a weapon. They were guardians against the most vile beings in the universe... the X.
