Besides Signal, this might be the most refreshing platform in a long time, and so much potential for more.

I would hope for the following features:

- a way to bookmark notes (privately)
- a way to format notes (allowing for longer writing/blogging)
- a preview of long notes, with option to read more
- easier picture integration (ability to choose storage)
- improved search function (with the ability to safe search settings, maybe decide on algorithm)
- better integration of notifications in iOS (but that seems to come with the app store, I guess?)
- pin own notes
- improved DMs (groups, channels, …think Signal, think Slack)
- considerations of privacy rights and transparency (extent to which a right to deletion can be provided, ability to map relays on which a person’s notes are stored). Ultimately, “nips” which relay provider have to obey to, regulating the further use notes (profiling, analytics, …).
