Now that Facebook is back, my entire timeline is people saying that they thought that they’d been hacked, or that their account got suspended or nuked.
That speaks loudly to the insecurity that users feel about their data safety on Meta’s sites and due to the opacity of the company’s moderation policies that cause people to be suspended or banned without warning and often without legitimate reason.
