These breaks, and, it took FreeBSD 2 (3?) years to support my graphics card, an RX6700XT. By the time FreeBSD supported it, I was already an OpenBSD desktop user for I think a year. They track graphics drivers pretty closely to their release in Linux. A buddy and I would joked about how FreeBSD only ran on old computers, and OpenBSD ran on dinosaurs...I learned it is quite the opposite because of the graphics drivers",
