Playing with music AI a couple of nights ago and I've got to be honest, it's brilliant.
We created a reggae song about turnips and a heavy metal song about fluffy kittens.
I don't think music AI is going to replace real musicians, as such, but I think things like jingles, b movie soundtracks etc, things with limited budget and time constraints, may fall to the inevitable economics, making it ever harder for people with real talent to be seen and heard. The risks of AI slop are real.
