I’m surprised how many popular Bitcoiners are still struggling with letting go of Twitter and other social media platforms.
You’d think they’d understand the value of a protocol over platforms pretty quickly. But clearly not.
I made the switch to Nostr only almost at its inception. I immediately felt unshackled. No ads, no algorithm, no disorganized timeline.
Social media platforms are Golden Handcuffs I guess.
Probably most of the Bitcoin influencers rely on their follower count and seeing an increase in notifications. Is that really signal? Or noise?
It took me a long time to be orange pilled but I’m glad & humbled that I’m early to the party this time.
