When I was going thru a really rough time in my life I would often go to the river in my city. I didn't really know why I was going, but I was drawn there. It was a sort of healing place, where I was comforted, grounded, and could feel healing energy. I didn't know what I was connecting to, at the time I just thought it was generally mother earth or the divine feminine, turns out, it was Brigid. I didn't know her fscd or name at the time, but she was brining me in and helping me. I was drawn to her healing waters and motherly embrace. After I realized who she was, I dedicated all of my spiritual energy to building the relationship with her that I have now. Now, after a year and a half, I feel I might finally be able to start using some spiritual energy on other things, maybe start doing magick again, but I still am dedicated to Brigid. She is the Exalted One.
