#WritersCoffeeClub 11/9: Is there any kind of scene you could never write?
Generally, in order to write something, I have to understand the character's motivations, and there are lots of things I don't understand, like many types of senseless violence. Most of what falls under "dark romance" I'm not gonna do---relationships with significant power imbalances, abuse, etc. I'm not good at writing about homophobia or racism or sexism. Stuff like that.
