If Xcode 15.0.1 can't detect your iOS 17 device and you have a VPN client:
1. shut down your VPN client
2. Disconnect iPhone from its cable
3. `Clear Trusted Computers` on your device
4. Unpair iPhone from Xcode
5. Connect iPhone to its cable
6. Xcode will get stuck on `Xcode has already started pairing with iPhone. Select "Trust" on iPhone to complete pairing.`
7. Disconnect iPhone from its cable
8. Connect iPhone to its cable
Pairing should succeed. Debugging should succeed.
