There is end to end encryption but the meta data leaks.
You can load a client with anyones pubkey and see board from their pov, including seeing who has DM’d them, etc. But you can’t send notes or sign anything without their private key.
If you want extreme privacy, it’s probably most sensible to try and do it upstream of your nostr keys.
