"content": "Let's start with very raw statistics.\n\nIn May, I averaged 457 followers on Instagram and 126 followers on Pixelfed. Quite the difference, but that's a solid 45% and 18% increase on Pixelfed and Insta respectively vs the start of 2024.\n\nMy posts averaged 26 likes per post on Instagram and 10 likes per post on Pixelfed in May. With May included, year to date we are averaging 24.6 and 9.4 likes per post on Instagram and Pixelfed respectively.\n\nAs expected, fewer followers lead to fewer likes, but the difference is not as staggering s I expected.\n\nThat said, a breakdown by topic makes things a little clearer.\n\n#Instagram #Pixelfed #SocialMedia #Meta #Fediverse",
