It’s exhausting. The sum total of our relationship has always been my choosing whether to accommodate or battle the self-centered prism through which he interacts with the world, then processing how it’s damaged me.
I’ve cut him off for years at a time. And I guess I’m saying this in case you need someone to tell you it’s okay to end ANY toxic relationship.
