I love this. My wife and I splurged on a few things, but overall attempted to keep our wedding cheap. Amazing how fast it can still get out of hand. We only had 14 people (just immediate family), booked a small art gallery in Houston that was beautiful, but reasonably priced, catered Gus’s fried chicken, and got a $70 Bundt cake instead of paying the outrageous premium for a wedding cake that didn’t taste as good. One of the bigger expenses was paying for a day of planner so we could relax and not worry about organizing the small stuff. Still turned out to be expensive, but manageable and we have zero regrets
