there is no earthly reason why i would not be able to do all these things in a single sitting:
- apply for health insurance (anytime)
- get approved
- pay the premium (a separate step for some reason)
- receive my ID number
- set up my online account
- select a PCP
- get a referral from the PCP to a specialist
but instead, i might have to pay full price for the specialist because anthem is taking WEEKS to send me the card
