Hardly. Most inmates where black and Muslim. Within a 99 percent, in my experience, on average they where all full of shit and thought they had the answer although they kept repeating the same mistakes over and over blaming everyone else around the. Everyone.
In the thousands and thousands of inmates I have had the unfortunate experience to come across with they have thought in the exact same manor. Its never their fault ever. Your dad may be a dick and bad father but his advice just from what I have seen is sound even if he is preaching but not practicing. ( key to learning is to be able to see your own faults)
