May be because blind folks aren't important. But may also be because ... it isn't useful. Because even Facebook's AI, despite being backed by such a big company, has no idea what's on images most of the times.
But yeah, AI will save us all. No need for sighted people to feel inconvenienced even for one moment by remembering we exist and having to write a sentence or two.
