Temperatures: There are a lot of guides regarding types of wax and temperatures for melting and pouring. I have even asked people to give me their old candles rather than throwing them away, so atm I have a pretty wild mix of waxes and I’m going by feel and experience. This is my second pour and it was a little less successful than the first. My candles got “sink holes”, which happens when the wax starts cooling down faster around the edges of the jar and the wick.
