What is your favorite museum now closed, and your favorite one that’s still open to average it out?
I’ll start!
• Closed: The Type Archive in London (irregular hours, not exactly a museum, but thoroughly remarkable, and now in storage perhaps forever, but not broken up)
• Open, seemingly funded forever: Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum (Boston). One of my favorite places, period, and I try to visit every time I go to Boston.
