I don't think normal nostr clients should try to do everything nostr. I think nostr has many applications built on top of it (chat, blog, highlighting, communities, classified listings, chess) that could be served by specialized clients. Vitor Pamplona (npub1gcx…nj5z) is free to make a superset client, but I'm not attempting to do that.
To me, nostr+git integration should probably be a website (series of websites) that looks remarkably like github, but uses nostr for the backend and has better features because of what nostr provides.
