Dad taught me that if I ever have extra monies or foods, to share with folks who don't have any.
Dad taught me that some of the cruelest people I'll ever meet in life, are those who look down on others with lesser than them, without offering any kind hands up.
Dad taught me that if I ever found myself with more privilege than others, to use my privilege to fight for those ignored & treated inhumanely by society.
Dad taught me to never forget my roots & that I was born to make a small difference in this world & its OK to be an odd girl because odd girls help to change the world.

I really miss my Dad a lot. His important life lessons are what I live by.
