Yesterday, I gave a talk entitled “Does language have a logical structure?”.
I discussed a very recent collaboration with S. Jarvis and John Terilla (CUNY), G. Gastaldi nprofile1qy2hwumn8ghj7un9d3shjtnddaehgu3wwp6kyqpqqyg6h4wheqezx2se9sujpt226psa2pfwys8r7vf2fvcnanude8yq2ftgu5 (nprofile…tgu5), and L. Pellissier nprofile1qy2hwumn8ghj7un9d3shjtnddaehgu3wwp6kyqpqn9s7fhyrhhxsyznu45gdk0t50ula0eugr5t09wnsz55mzm07rwfq54s4rd (nprofile…s4rd).
I am quite excited about this work which relates categorical structures (nuclei of an adjunction), models of linear logic, and some approaches in natural language processing, with hints of projective tropical geometry.
