There were times while I was playing Lorelei and the Laser Eyes that I thought it was a stylish but pretentious wrapper around puzzles that were only okay, but I kept with it and I'm glad I did. It absolutely sticks the landing. All of the different pieces hold together once you see what its creators were going for. It's not one for the ages, just a unique aesthetic experience that wouldn't have worked in any other medium.
