All you need to really understand the #Bitcoin Blocksize War & why there was a perfectly legitimate disagreement and not some elaborate conspiracy, are these 2 facts:
1. Bcash forked, destroyed the most important balancing system of #Bitcoin (difficulty adjustment) and had to save itself with another fork almost immediately.
2. The other fork to Segwit2X that was being pushed, never produced a single block. It had an utterly basic, system-obliterating bug from the very first block it was supposed to produce. It died INSTANTLY.
If you still think the reason #Bitcoin didn't fork off is because of some evil insurance/corporate/government conspiracy, then you are blind.
It's simply because COMPETENT ENGINEERS and naive libertarian dreamers (who i can perfectly identify with) had a disagreement over an ENGINEERING problem, & only one of the three paths available retained any degree of merit or trust after being put to the most basic of tests.
