We're at the dentist's office for an appt for Jupes and it was really cute how Greg and I pull out our books (to read in the car while we wait) and Jupes looks around and grabs their bag and says, "Okay here I go! Into an adult appointment by myself! I'm so adult! I'm doing the thing!"
I have so much love and warmth for young people trying to navigate these basic things. It's really an unacknowledged journey learning how to do all this stuff. There is a lot to being a person.
