i love seeing trans people waking up.
first realizing they're not cis, then waking up to who they really are.
it's a slow process for some, for others it's a sudden jump from old to new.
absolutely beautiful, every single time... no matter what the outcome, who they were, or who they become.
trans joy is the joy of pure self-creativity. pure self-actualization. it is fundamentally transgressive, because it shows how malleable our selves and our societies are.
