Still I think it's very likely that they are being fooled that they are welcome in EU by smugglers or other bad actors which use them for own purpose.
People there make decision based on false impression and later on it's too late to come back.
Not so long ago Angela Merkel started open door policy for immigrants but situation got out of control very quickly and is still taking its toll.
You should not be focusing your anger at illegal immigrants but rather question yourself why this decision was made to destabilize own country and whole EU on purpose and who gained from it.
