My advice is pay attention to the best TV/Sound-Bar combo, not to think about "best of breed" for each one separately. You really want a sound bar that works seamlessly with your TV. For instance, if you buy a Samsung TV, then buy a Samsung sound bar, otherwise there is extra futzing and searching for remotes that seems small at first but will make you crazy in the long run.
