There are many reasons I'm seeking permanent residency here in Canada after a lifetime of frustration living in the US.
But if I had to name one off the top of my head right now, it's the fact that I've spent years UNSUCCESSFULLY trying to convince my student loan servicer that 5 years of work for the US federal court system as a judicial law clerk should qualify as "public service" for purposes of the Public Service Loan Forgiveness program.
