Idle Thought: Were your foot as cancerous as the present U.S. Supreme Court would you not treat it? Even remove it need be?
Why should SCOTUS be any different?
Ignoring SCOTUS decisions would be amputation of last resort. How about discounting the votes of both Thomas and Roberts on every decision?
So a 6-3 vote becomes a 4-3 vote. In that case nothing would change, but that would not always be the case.
Actually, I prefer Wyden's reform bill. But that's not quite immediate enough.
